“Boston Skyline White” was commissioned by JR Moran. acrylic & pastel on canvas 72″ x 26″

It’s all in there–A 360 degree view of Boston from the Harvard Bridge. That statement isn’t much of an exaggeration. Harvard, MIT, BU, BC, Northeastern, Fenway, the Garden (Okay, Gillette Stadium isn’t in there, but Gillette Stadium is not really IN Boston), Genzyme, Google, other Kendall Square tech startups and giants, Bunker Hill Memorial (and that fancy wishbone suspension bridge that was named after it), the Boston Science Museum, Liberty Hotel (formerly the Suffolk County Jail–noteworthy inmates: Malcom X, the 53rd govenor of Massachusetts, and Nazis from the captured German Submarine during World War II), Massachusetts General Hospital, Massachusetts State Capital, Boston Federal Reserve, State Street Global Headquarters, Prudential Life Insurance Tower, John Hancock Tower, Trinity Church in Copley Square, the Famous Citgo Gas Sign glistening on the Charles River, and more.

Standing on the Harvard Bridge, it’s hard to imagine anywhere else in the country (including Washington DC and NYC) where so much intellectual and financial power resides.
